Norcan Lake Island – July 2018

Norcan Lake in the North Frontenac area is a real gem! It offers good fishing, ample crown land and is close to Ottawa. For this trip, we decided that we would kayak our way out to a small secluded island in the southern part of the lake. Since the weather was going to be hot and sunny (30+) we brought our Tentsile tree tents. Not only are they easy to install when the ground is not level but since they are suspended, they provided air flow around your entire body, which was definitely going to be appreciated during this scorching weekend.
